Welcome to the new IDS Knowledge Center. The Knowledge Center provides a comprehensive
library offering on-line training courses for Interior Designers and other design
professionals. On-line courses provided in the Knowledge Center have been selected
to meet state licensing board continuing education requirements.
IDS Has Two Ways To Serve You!
IDS – CEU Courses for Legislation: Through IDS you have access to a comprehensive
library of CEU approved training courses in Interior Design and design related fields.
After completing an on-line course, confirmation of CEU credit will be provided
to the approved state board.

If you practice design in more than one state or province that has laws regulating
the practice of interior design and/or the use of a title, you must contact the
appropriate state board or agency to obtain all of the information regarding compliance.
*You do not have to be an IDS member to receive CEU credit for these courses.
IDS Recommended – Personal Development and Advanced Studies:
IDS members have easy access to Interior Design specific courses. Members can choose
an on-line course to review a topic, to investigate a new specialty, or to gain
in-depth knowledge. Courses are rated by degree of difficulty and some are offered
in a series. Course descriptions will indicate if a prerequisite is required.
Once you choose and enroll in a course, you have “purchased” that course. Upon course
completion, a completion certificate will be placed in your account and your results
will automatically be reported to IDS and to the appropriate state board (if required).
